Uasin Gishu has a number of facts that make it very ideal for investment. The County is more
ideal and attractive to meeting the needs and wants of most entrepreneurs, investors and well as stakeholders and it has been even in the periods of colonization when it had been a white crown land.

The County under the first term of devolution has gone down in history for not filibustering
County bills. The assembly passed the highest number of bills. This has led to more entrepreneurs to invest there which will lead to the much needed achievements to all. Success in the investments which create a huge revenue base to the County and country at large.

The County has a good security which is a factor one has to consider when doing an investment. This is enabled by the numerous police posts and units which are located in the County. The Moi barracks in the County is a proof that there is no cause of alarm in case of an attack. The County also has the North Rift Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) regional offices. Except during the post-election violence that occurred in Kenya in 2007/2008, the county overall has over a long period had political stability.

Uasin Gishu boasts of one of the best climate in the country. The cool and wet weather witnessed in most time of the year brings the much wanted promise to those who invest in the agricultural industries. For instance, those investing in the milk processing industries and plantation farming of crops like wheat and maize have a lot of returns in terms of profit due to their investment.

The County is also geopolitically located which gives it an upper hand over the other counties as
far as investment is concerned. The County has good infrastructure which range from the railway lines, tarmacked roads and air transport. In any case, Eldoret International Airport is the busiest when it comes to export of perishable goods from the various neighbouring major towns to the largest open markets in Kenya which are in Europe.

The County government has fully embraced private land ownership which has provided for a
chance for interested individuals and companies to buy large tracts of land and invest in the County. It is one of the leading producers of maize the staple food in the country. Owing land privately gives the opportunity for one to put much efforts to whichever kind of investment they wish.

Bank liquidity is fully assured in the County which is so exceptional. The County has a branch of Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) which gives full chance to investors for a chance especially in the bureau department. The County also has other banking and commercial institutions in the country like Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB), Equity Bank, National Bank and other foreign banks like Standard Chartered, Barclays Bank, Eco Bank among others make it possible for investors to take loans at rates controlled by the CBK to enhance maximum profits.

The County has a rich history of success in the corporate world and investment firms. Investors
should take a Cost Benefit Analysis of investing in the County which has fully initiated policies
that have focused on development. The adoption of developmental theories will make the County develop enormously to the level of the BRICs. (Brazil, India and China).
